Fly Fishing

Fly fishing is very different from fishing with a lure or worm bait. A fly fisherman uses an artificial fly made of stings of feathers, foam, leather, fur, thread, and other materials to try on a hook that makes it attractive to the type of fish he catches. Every fly fisherman has his own type of fly that he likes to buy and some of us like to tie our own flies. Fly tying is more of an art with some basic training that most people can learn in a short time.

The tip of the rod should be in the four o'clock position with 20 feet (6 m) of line extending beyond the tip of the rod. Hold the line between the handle of the penis and your index finger. To start the backcast, flex your elbow, lift your forearm and move the rod end 4 to 11:30, then lift the line out of the water. Pause for a moment at this point to allow the line to extend behind you before pushing the bar forward. Let the rod continue as the line runs its full length in front of you. Then continue working the line in this manner. fish strikes. The battle is on and you manage to land the fish. It's throwing flies.

Fly fishing is an ancient method of angling. It was developed primarily for trout and salmon fishing. Today it is still used to catch these species, but it is also used to catch bass, carp, pike and a wide variety of saltwater fish. The difference between casting and fly fishing is that you use the weight of the lure, sinker, and popper in the casting process to push the cast. In fly fishing, the weight of the line pushes your line forward and holds the fly in position. The fly cannot do this because it is essentially weightless. The goal of fly fishing is to present the fly smoothly and still have it under control.
